Volkswagen is promoting the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle with “High Fives”, a television commercial in which a San Francisco driver is greeted by pedestrians, drivers, road workers, parking attendant, cyclists, motorcyclists and a dog, with high fives and knuckles. The spot provides connections with a wide range of people groups, but contrary to earlier advertising campaigns, it’s a man behind the wheel, in a black VW.
